Online Exercises:


  • Exercise 1: Complete the sentences with can/can't/could/couldn't.


  • Exercise 3: Have to (necessity). Choose the right answer.

  • Exercise 4: Don't have to and Mustn't with exercises.




  • Exercise 8: Justin Timberlake's Can/Could lesson. Listen and do the exercise. (Audio Lesson).

  • Exercie 9: Complete the gaps with MUST or MUSTN'T, then press "Check" to check your answers.


  • Exercise 11: Use can or can't to complete the sentences.

  • Exercise 12: Must/Mustn't. What mustn't you do at school?

  • Exercise 13: School Life. Read the sentences and choose the most suitable modal verb.




  • Exercise 17: Fill in the gaps with "Could , can , may , must , might , should".


  • Exrcise 19: Read the sentences. Make deductions using "can't", "could" "may" "might" and "must" or an appropriate form of "be". *If necessary, use "be" with any of the modals.



  • Exercise 22: Can or Can't. Look at the pictures and choose the best answer.


  • Exercise 24: Modal Auxiliaries about supposition: could, might, may, can or can't.

  • Exercise 25: 1. Match the verbs with the pictures. 2. Make sentences about what these people can do and how well they can do it! 3. Watch the video and answer the questions.

  • Exercise 26: Some easy activities to work on the verb CAN/CAN´T. Although they learn vocabulary related to hobbies. To finish they can watch some regional Brisith dances in order to compare them with dances of their autonomous region in the next lesson.

  • Exercise 27: Household verbs. The students will have to write the correct form of the verbs in the boxes.

  • In my country: Practise modal verbs of obligation and highlight the difference between mustn't and don't have to. Categorize modal verbs and complete sentences about their country.
